Questions About the Consultation

What does the consultation cost?

Nothing. The visit is free, we ask for no deposit, and you decide afterwards whether to book the work. A designer comes out, measures, talks through the options and leaves you with a written quote to keep.

How long does the appointment take?

About an hour for most kitchens. Larger projects with layout changes can run to ninety minutes. We’ll tell you what to expect when we call to book.

How should I prepare?

Clear access to the cabinets, and come with a rough idea of what bothers you about the room. Any photos you have saved help a lot, so have them ready on your phone. That covers it.

What happens after the designer leaves?

You keep the quote and take as long as you want with it. Most people talk to two or three companies, which is sensible on a project this size, and we’re happy to be one of them.

Do both homeowners need to be there?

It helps if everyone making the decision can be present, because the design conversation goes further and you save a second visit. One of you is enough if that suits your schedule better.

What if I am outside your service area?

We cover 64 ZIP codes across the north side of the Columbus metro. Enter your ZIP in the form and we’ll confirm before we call. If you sit outside it, we’ll point you to the right Kitchen Tune-Up location the same day.
